V Rising FREE for a Limited Time! - Press Release

Answer the Call of the Night: Play V Rising FREE for a Limited Time!

Skövde, Sweden – May 13, 2026 – Stunlock Studios invites players everywhere to embrace their inner vampire during an upcoming Free Weekend for V Rising, a Survival Action RPG, on Steam. The event begins May 14 at 10:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) and runs through May 18 at 10:00 AM (PT).

For a limited time, players can step into the haunting world of V Rising at no cost, exploring its gothic landscapes and experiencing the full game alongside friends.

Join over 6 million vampires in the night. Hunt for blood, build a gothic castle worthy of your legend, and bask in the moonlight like the creature you were always meant to be. Whether you're fresh from the grave or a seasoned night stalker, there’s never been a better time to rise.

If the darkness proves irresistible, V Rising will be available at a 55% discount during the event, with all DLC also offered at 20% off, making it the ideal time to continue your journey beyond the Free Weekend.

What Awaits You in V Rising:

• Epic Vampire Adventure: Begin your journey as a newly risen vampire in a world ruled by humans. Hunt for blood, evade the burning sun, and choose your path — dominate in PvE or test your might against others in PvP.
• A Gothic World - Explore Solo or with Friends: Venture into a vast open world filled with secrets and danger. Hunt alone or with allies as you raid villages, battle holy warriors, and roam a land steeped in dark fantasy.
• Build Your Vampire Castle: Gather resources to construct a gothic castle worthy of your legacy. Expand your domain, craft essential tools, and raise an army of loyal thralls.
• Hunt Legendary Foes: Battle the infamous Dracula, Werewolves, Witches, and the powerful Church. Drink their blood to absorb their powers.

Don’t miss your chance to rise. From May 14 - 18, the night belongs to you. Whether you’re stepping into V Rising for the first time or returning for another hunt, this Free Weekend is your invitation to embrace the darkness.
