Using her patented S.A.L.A.D(Story, Art, Letters, Action, Drama) Scale scoring system, Mint breaks down every comic she reviews into five easily understandable parts. With Mint doing all the heavy lifting, even a casual comic book fan can understand why she praises or criticizes certain parts of the comic.
Mint's latest indie comic book review was Inglorious Rex Vol.1 by Shane Davis. DC comic fans might recognize Davis from his work on various DC comic books including, but not limited to, Superman/Batman #44-49, Final Crisis: Rage of the Red Lanterns #1, and New Gods Special #1. Davis also did some work for both Marvel Comics and Image Comics. However, it is Shane's current work at his self-owned comic book company, 9 Lives Comics, that has fans like Mint Salad really excited.
