Watch "The Creation of FFXIV: Shadowbringers" series while you wait for Patch 2.25 on April 7th.


Patch 2.25 will become available on April 7th.  I couldn't find a full list of fixes but a couple of notable editions being advertised were the  "Save the Queen: Blades of Gunnhildr" series of quests, and new Skysteel tools.

The main site for 5.2X patches had this to say about the new quest series:

"For years, Bozja─homeland of the Hrothgar─has remained at the mercy of Garlean rulers. But the Empire has fallen into disarray, and the people of Doma and Ala Mhigo have risen up to challenge their authority. The Bozjans, while heartened at this news, yet lack the means to join the rebellion. To that end, they seek a standard under which their people may gather. A weapon of legend..."


While you're waiting for the new content, you may be interested in watching a "developer diary" six-part series of YouTube videos from the team, "The Creation of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers".   Before I let the press release take it away, just a fair warning on the videos: You will need to enable closed captions to get subtitles for the video; there are English, German, Spanish and Italian subtitle options:
